Jean-Baptiste Heinzer, Senior Partner Born in Lausanne Switzerland (14th February 1969) Mr. Heinzer started his career with Caterpillar in 1994. He was then called to turn around the family business, which he led to a successful sale. He returned to industry in 1996 to be active in aviation as a strategy consultant; helping a regional French airlines to grow through international alliances. He joined Galenica, the first drug distributor and third Swiss producer, in 1998 to run part of its network of pharmacies, which he rounds off with an experience in ISO certification. Jean-Baptiste Heinzer joins Armand Lombard branch of Venture Capital in 2001.Before leaving he developed the structure of an investment vehicle. He founded Equitys in 2002 and handles corporate finance, technological due diligence and project management services. These activities brought him to collaborate with Abu Dhabi government in order to develop an applied research center to be specialised in water treatment and production. An MOU was signed. Since 2002, Equitys ran numerous due diligence for corporate customers, was involved with several Start-up and SMI's for capital structuring or MBO's. Equitys acted also as a "tech-hunter" especially in the field of the renewable energy (solar cells, wind mills, organic fuels...) Mr Heinzer get involved in Oil& Gas when an international industrial Group asked Equitys to analyse a specific land seismic operation. In the same time Equitys was ask by the Libyan's Petroleum Research Center to draw the draft project of an International Energy applied research center in Tripoli. Mr. Heinzer graduated in economics from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) and holds a postgraduate certificate from the University of Geneva in Corporate Finance.
